Today marks the first "offical" day of our camping theme. Tis the wee hours of the morning, but I wanted to get the bulletin board put together before the day started and it took a bit longer than expected, all in all the I think things turned out nicely.

So the adventure begins. Having being thrown a bit of a curve ball and having to put nursing school on the back burner indefinitely - Sophia and I now embark upon a homeschooling adventure. With themes, activities and theoretical knowledge in hand we will hit the ground running. Of course Brenna will be along for the ride. Since we'll be going camping in the August I decided our first theme should be just that. Camping! Sophia has never been camping and doesn't know much about it, so I think this is a good way to introduce her to it and as a bonus our camping trip will be a field trip and a good way to put to good use all of her new knowledge. I do believe that if all goes as planned I'll post our daily adventures... well daily.
